The Pony

THE PONY is a place built with our youth in mind, hearts of passion, and the communities’ dreams.  We hope everyone has the chance to enjoy it.  Fees to play are to be paid in the Pro Shop, and will always be free to Juniors.  Donations to keep it that way are accepted to the Wild Horse Foundation.   We hope Wild Horse’s newest amenity will bring you back to your routes and make you love golf forever.

Rules & Regulations:

  • There are no tee times.  Just check in at the Pro Shop and get in line.
  • The cost to play is $10 and includes a pyramid of balls at the range to play.
  • The Pony is free to juniors, members, and on site lodging guests.
  • It is a walking only course.  Exceptions are allowed for those requiring assistance.  Please see the Pro Shop.
  • Play is allowed in groups of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8.
  • Tees are color coordinated with the flags on the green.  Please play in this order: Yellow, White, Green, Blue, Red, & Black*.
  • There are two sets of tees, one for advanced players and one for beginners.  The beginners tees will be designated by a horse skull.
  • Please don’t tee off until the green is clear.
  • Let faster groups play through every other hole.
  • The Black Tee Hole is sometimes in play and sometimes not.*
  • The Pony will be closed to adults during school practice hours.
  • The Pony will be closed to juniors during league nights.
