Job Title: Food & Beverage Front of House Manager
Definition: Responsible for the Food & Beverage Front of House department; including training programs, personnel management, member relations, scheduling, ordering, budget maintenance, and compliance of regulatory issues. The Food & Beverage Front of House Manager will report directly to the Director of Golf and work alongside another Front of House Manager.
Compensation: $44,000-$49,000 salary based on experience, $5,000-$10,000/ year commission, tips, and bonuses, 3% Simple IRA match after 2 years, individual life insurance, employee discounts, family membership to the club, and continuing education allowances.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to operate the equipment found in most bar and grill atmospheres. Be a self-motivated problem solver, observant, with good verbal communication skills. Qualified individuals must also demonstrate good computer skills with knowledge in club software, e-mail, and Microsoft office. Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Manager or Mixologist are preferred but not required. Individuals applying must also have a Valid Driver’s License, be legally able to serve alcohol, and a food handler’s certificate is preferred. A two-year degree or certificate from an undergraduate college is recommended and two years’ experience in a commercial restaurant or bar is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, REQUIREMENTS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities listed below are not meant to cover every job requirement and may be changed from time to time.

Expect 50+ hours per week from April-November and 20 hours per week from December-March on average.

Co-responsible for all phases of Food & Beverage activities and operations.

Administers and enforces all Club rules, regulations and policies for staff.

Works closely with another manager to operate F&B in a fiscally responsible and professional manner under the direct supervision of the Director of Golf.

Assists the staff with customer service, bartending, food handling, cost controls, cleanliness, events, and maintenance prevention.

Recruits, supervises, and retains staff while also assisting in the management of seasonal staff.

Excellent bartending and/or serving skills along with management in both areas.

Provides technical, operational, and safety training for employees to ensure that staff are working within OSHA, club safety, state, and federal guidelines for safe work conditions.

Efficiently places orders and determines the selection of food & beverages the club will provide along with inventory control and reporting.

Will work closely with the event coordinator to fulfill party and event requirements.

Maintains records and completes required reporting.

Order parts, supplies, and equipment as needed.

Helps to schedule staff around member play, guest play, events, and outings to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption.

Interpersonal skill to resolve conflict and work with supervisors, officials, employees, members and the public.

Knowledge of the game of golf, golf rules and methods of play are a plus.

Ability to anticipate personnel, equipment, and material requirements related to golf course beverage cart operations and on course bars.

Mixology skills are a plus.

Job Title: Cook (Part Time)
Definition: Responsible to cooking, prepping, and learning from Head Chef.
Compensation: $18-$24/hour
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to operate the equipment found in most bar and grill atmospheres. Be a self-motivated problem solver, observant, with good verbal communication skills. Qualified individuals must also possess strong culinary skills and/or learning. Previous experience as a Cook is recommended. Individuals applying must also have a Valid Driver’s License, be legally able to serve alcohol, and a food handler’s certificate is preferred.

- Help assist with daily kitchen operation.
- Expect 20+ hours per week during the season and less than 20 out of season.
- Responsible for all phases of kitchen activities and operations when Chef is not there.
- Works closely with the Chef to operate kitchen in a fiscally responsible and professional manor.
- Assists the staff in Food & Beverage any way possible, including customer service, bartending, food handling, cost controls, cleanliness, events, and maintenance

Compensation: $10-$12/hour
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to operate the equipment found in most bar and grill atmospheres. Be a self-motivated problem solver, observant, with good verbal communication skills. Qualified individuals must also possess strong bartending skills and/or learning. Previous experience as a bartender is recommended. Individuals applying must also have a Valid Driver’s License, be legally able to serve alcohol.

- Assists all front of house staff in any way possible, including customer service, bartending, food handling, cost controls, cleanliness, events, and maintenance.

Definition: Responsible to assist customers with their bags, carts, and other daily functions.
Compensation: $14-$16/hour

Be a self-motivated problem solver, observant, with good verbal communication skills. Individuals applying must also have a Valid Driver’s License and be able to be on time.
